A Capitol Comparison

I worked as a bookkeeper for twenty-five years, primarily in the retail and entertainment industries. After working for a record company, I took a position in the textile industry. Comparing my offices, the perks and discrimination, the two jobs differ in some ways.

Hello & Welcome

Hello and Welcome to blog.DazMan.com. I am new to blogging and this WordPress weblog software is very new to me. WordPress weblog is feature rich and as time goes on will learn all it’s functions and take full advantage of them.

I have a friend who is a great writer and editor, hope she is inspired to join my blog and post some of her writings. Am hoping as she reads this, she will be inspired to help me write a better welcome page. She wrote a story about a hurricane that hit the West Indies, reading it you feel as though you are experiencing the hurricane.

UPDATE: Okay, so this is her response to helping me write a welcome page.

Daz,

Now listen.  You know I’d be more than willing to help with the welcome page, but first read the first and possibly last draft of what I want to post, and then tell me which you prefer I do:

My capital “F” Friend, DazMan, underestimates his abilities, and exaggerates mine.

I admit, being an appreciative person of ego strokes, I could be biased towards his welcome page.  But I don’t think I could write a better one.  I could correct his punctuation and grammatical errors, and perhaps welcome the world’s bloggers in a more grandiose style.  His thoughts, though, and the way he writes them, his honesty and openness, his feelings about a long-ago incident – those set the tone of this site.  Why would I want to change that?
